Dr. Reena Kuba, board certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, is a native Dallas-ite.
She received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Texas at Dallas. She next earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Baylor College of Dentistry. Continuing at Baylor, Dr. Kuba completed her certification in pediatric dentistry, in addition to a Master of Science in oral biology.
When Dr. Kuba started dental school, she was working as a general dental assistant and had her sights set on becoming a general dentist. More than anything, she knew with a great amount of certainty that she would not be specializing in oral surgery or pediatrics. She says, “No one was more surprised than me when I realized I love pediatrics!”
Now, Dr. Kuba helps teach the Introduction to Pediatric Dentistry class at TAMU College of Dentistry — the very same course that made her fall in love with the specialty!
In addition to teaching, Dr. Kuba serves as a consultant to the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners and the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She stays current on the latest advances in oral healthcare through participation in multiple study groups, as well as taking continuing education through numerous professional organizations.
Beyond pediatric dentistry, Dr. Kuba enjoys traveling and learning about other cultures, which is why she chose a “world” theme for the office. She loves baking, practicing yoga, and reading.
Above all, she loves spending time with her husband and two children.
Dr. Kuba is grateful for all the rewards that come from working with children and their families. She loves watching children grow up and appreciates the opportunity to make a difference in each child’s health and outlook on dentistry.
